<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified dewatering device with excellent usability. <P>SOLUTION: A basket 2, a case 3 for housing the basket, and a rotary drive mechanism 4 having a pedal 57 for driving the basket to rotate are provided. The case mainly includes a cylindrical case body 21 with a bottom and an upper opening, and a flat plate-shaped base body 22 for supporting and fixing the case from a lower side. The bottom of the case body is provided concavely with a recess portion 26 for installing the drive mechanism for ensuring installation space SA for the rotary drive mechanism, between the base body and the case body. The recess portion for installing the driving mechanism has an opening 26a at an end in its longitudinal direction, this opening being arranged, as viewed from the upper side in an operational direction, in a side of an end of a front face of the case body along its horizontal direction, and also arranged such that the pedal is projected from the opening of the recess portion for installing the driving mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
