<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct distortion of a whole image including ends of the image in a distortion image correction apparatus and a distortion image correction method. <P>SOLUTION: Image processing means (3) of a distortion image correction apparatus (1) is provided with distortion correction means (3A) which corrects distortion of an image by performing processing for all coordinate values of a distortion correction image. In the processing, multiplying a coordinate value of an image without distortion by a distortion correction coefficient (K'), camera image coordinate values (u', v') imaged by imaging means (2) are associated therewith, and pixels of the coordinate values (u', v') of the camera image with distortion serve as pixels of distortion correction image coordinate values (u, v). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
