<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting control device of a light source device capable of safely turning on a solid light-emitting element by preventing a rapid increase in an operating temperature. <P>SOLUTION: When a light source device 1 having a plurality of densely packaged light-emitting diodes (LEDs) 12 is started, a control unit 51 supplies a starting electric power lower than a rated power preset for each of light source modules 10 created by modularizing a prescribed number of LEDs 12 to each light source module 10 and turns on all the LEDs of each light source module 10 at a rated power under the condition that temperatures of all the light source modules 10 do not rise abnormally in an unsuitable manner in relation to the starting electric power. This enables the lighting control device to prevent a rapid increase in the operating temperature of the light source device 1 and safely turn on LEDs 12 even if a cooling device 30 is faulty or a partial peeling from a base 2 or the like occurs in the light source module 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
