<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a polyester film having good hydrolysis resistance, especially the method for producing the polyester film suitable for a film for sealing the back side of a solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyester film includes mixing a polyester resin (A) with a polyester resin (B), and forming the resultant mixture, wherein the polyester (A) contains a titanium atom, at least one atom selected from group II in the periodic table, and a phosphorus atom, and has a volume specific resistance ρV at 285°C of >50×10<SP POS="POST">7</SP>Ω cm, ≥ an intrinsic viscosity IV of 0.72 dL/g or larger, and the amount AV of terminal carboxy groups of ≤20 eq./ton. The polyester (B) contains 50-300 wt.ppm of a compound of the atoms selected from the group II in the periodic table, expressed in terms of atoms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
