The scattering device for baked goods on an automatic baking or drying line having a material silo (1) for grit salts e.g. poppy seeds, comprises an adjustable beam control unit (8) directed to the baked goods, a material handling hose (4) of the material silo to the grit to the adjustable beam control unit, and a compressed air device (10) of the adjustable beam control unit provided for pneumatic dilute phase conveying the grit of the material silo by the beam control unit to the baked goods. The adjustable beam control unit is linearly controlled by a robot.
