The method involves pouring thermoplastic resin as a granule and/or powder into a cavity mold (2) such that the mold is heated and rotated. Process heat application of the mold is performed for plasticization of plastic before and/or during pouring of plastic into the mold. A partial thickening of a molded skin is performed during molding. A thickening of the molded skin is performed by specific accumulation of pouring in limited defined regions of the mold, where the pouring is performed into the mold, where the accumulation takes place by pressurization in thickened regions. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing a molded skin made of thermoplastic resin.
