Cleaning method with improved long-term hygienic effect

The method involves detecting heat equivalents with which a product to be cleaned is pressurized. The heat equivalents are added and are weighed with a compensation function during addition of the heat equivalents, where the compensation function is a function of temperature. The heat equivalents are detected at the temperature. The compensation function is adjusted to provide the heat equivalents detected in an exceptional temperature range, with a lower weighting than heat equivalents detected in other temperature ranges. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a cleaning device for cleaning and/or disinfecting a product to be cleaned, comprising a controller (2) a computer program comprising a program code to perform a method for cleaning and/or disinfecting a product to be cleaned.
