PURPOSE: A terminal for supporting a mobile communication system and cell selection method thereof are provided to allow a terminal to efficiently perform cell selection. CONSTITUTION: A first communication unit(210) communicates with a first system. A second communication unit(220) communicates with a second system. A storing unit(230) stores a history for supporting a service from a first system cell and a second system cell. A control unit(250) extracts the cell frequency band of the second system.
