INJECTABLE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION HAVING CONTROLLING ACTIVITY OF PH AND DIVALENT CATION, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition for injection and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to control pH and/or bivalent cation concentration and to reduce patient's pain. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for injection comprises: a water soluble particle containing alkali earth metal or alloy or compounds of the alkali earth metal; and biocompatible fluid. The pharmaceutical composition has an activity of controlling pH or bivalent cation concentration. The alkali earth meal is Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, or Ra. The alloy is combination of two or more kinds of Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, or Ra. The compounds are oxide, hydroxide, sulfur oxides, or chloride of the alkali earth metal. The pharmaceutical composition is used for treating and preventing bone damage, osteoporosis, rheumatitc arthritis, or Paget's disease.
