The method involves determining data for navigation based on comparison of data of an opto-sensoric detection device (202) e.g. camera module, with reference/model data of position of an electronic data processing (EDV) system (100)/mobile unit (200) and a layer position of an actual target object of a stock list. Navigation information for an object of the list is provided after optical detection and identification of the target object/placeholder substitute object. Detection and logging of order commissioning processes of a stock object is performed at a storage area in a destination bin. An independent claim is also included for a device for visual technical assistance of manual order commissioning processes.
