PURPOSE: A rechargeable battery is provided to improve the sealing properties of a cap-plate by removing terminal holes formed on the cap-plate by forming at least one of electrode terminals to a cap-plate. CONSTITUTION: A rechargeable battery comprises an electrode assembly(10), a case(15), a cap-plate(20) and electrode terminals(21,22). The electrode assembly comprises a separator(13) between the first and second electrodes. The case houses the electrode assembly. The cap-plate seals an opening formed at one side of the case. The electrode terminals are electrically connected to the electrode assembly. At least one of the electrode terminals is integrated with the cap plate.
