<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and promptly inform a user of lost personal belongings. <P>SOLUTION: A loss information giving system 100 gives loss information to the user 200 when he/she enters or leaves a facility. When user information 400 and personal belonging information 500 are acquired by a user information acquisition part 602 and a personal belonging information acquisition part 603, whether there are lost personal belongings (lost articles) is determined by a determination part 614. When it is determined that there are lost articles, the loss information indicating that there are the lost articles is given by an information part 601. By this processing, when the loss information indicating there are the lost articles is given when the user 200 enters the facility, the user 200 can recognize that the personal belongings are lost before entering the facility.
