The method involves determining a profile line that runs on a local environment of an object contour and lies outside and inside a testing object. A local threshold value of reconstruction values is determined or the position for the local background gray value and object gray value is determined from the process of reconstruction values along the profile line. A local contour point is specified on the profile line. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product for implementing a method of determination of an object contour (2) an apparatus for determination of an object contour. |
