SOURCE DRIVER FOR USING A METHOD FOR DRIVING A LIQUID CRYSTAL PANAL

PURPOSE: A source driver is provided to reduce power consumption by comparing most signification byte of previous data and the most signification byte of current data and restricting charge recycling range. CONSTITUTION: A charge recycling part(250a) is connected between the output buffer of a source driver and an output pad. The charge recycling part generates a plurality of center voltages. A charge recycling controller(260a) compares most signification byte of previous data and the most signification byte of current data. The charge recycling controller activates one or more control signals which transmit at least one among a plurality of center voltages. A plurality of middle voltage sources is connected to one end of a plurality of switches(SW4) and the output pad is connected to the other end of a plurality of switches.
