PURPOSE: An accelerating device for a bicycle is provided to accelerate a bicycle by reducing the gear ratio of a planetary gear than that of a sun gear. CONSTITUTION: An accelerating device for a bicycle comprises a pair of pedals(110) which are coupled to an arm(111), a guide tube(130) which guides a rotary shaft(120), a housing which is coupled to a side of the guide tube, an acceleration gear(150) comprising two-stage planetary gears(153), smaller one of which is coupled to a sun gear(151), and a sprocket(160) which is formed with a power transmission gear(161) for coupling the planetary gears concentric with the sun gear.
