The method involves transmitting access authorization from a near field communication (NFC)-compatible mobile device i.e. mobile telephone (1), to a passive radio frequency identification (RFID) card (2) i.e. dual interface RFID card, or a reading device for reading the authorization of a compatible RFID transponder according to ISO 15693standard and ISO 14443standard. The authorization is transmitted when the mobile device is operated in a read/write mode, and data are transmitted from the mobile device to the RFID card using inductive coupling.
