PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus of mass transportation of cars using a container ship are provided to stably transport cars without a special carrier and unloading wharf. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus of mass transportation of cars comprises a ramp tower(10), a container ship(20), a terminal container crane(40), and a fastening unit. The ramp tower comprises multi-stage car decks and ramp ways. The car container ship comprises a frame rail, corner posts, a ceiling panel, and sidewalls. The terminal container crane is installed in a container terminal and successively the ramp tower and car containers to form a parking building. The fastening unit connects the ramp tower and the car container ship.
