The invention relates to a respiratory device comprising a compressed gas source that can be connected to a respiratory mask, a control system for a compressed gas source, and a measuring device for detecting at least one respiratory parameter. The control system is provided with an adaptation device for modifying the pressure of the compressed gas source according to an evaluation of the measured respiratory parameter. The control system comprises an analyser for detecting at least one artefact. Said analyser is coupled to the control system in such a way that, when the artefact is identified, a pressure variation pre-defined by the adaptation device is avoided. The inventive method for controlling the respiratory appliance enables an evaluation of non-specific disturbed signals to be suppressed for the pressure control, during the occurrence of disturbances. |
