PURPOSE: A navigation terminal and an information searching method using the same are provided to ensure safe driving during information search by facilitating an operation for searching POI(Point Of Interest). CONSTITUTION: A navigation terminal comprises a communication module(120) capable of accessing the internet, an input unit(140) which receives a search command from a user, and a search support unit(160) which creates a search word corresponding to the search command, automatically connects to the internet, and receives a search result about the search word.
