PURPOSE: A silicone composition for a release film is provided to obtain a releasable layer with an improved adhesion to a plastic film. CONSTITUTION: A silicone composition for a release film comprises (A) 100 parts by mass of a curable organopolysiloxane composition, (B) 0.3-3 parts by mass of the adduct of a diphenylalkane derivative and an organosilicon compound, and (C) 0.1-2 parts by mass of an isocyanurate derivative having at least one of epoxy group bonded to nitrogen atoms or trialkoxysilyl group. The (B) component comprises (B1) 0-2.7 parts by mass of the adduct of a diphenyl alkane derivative and organosilane or organosiloxane derivative having at least one organooxy group, and (B2) 0.3-3 parts by mass of the adduct of a diphenyl alkane derivative and an organosiloxane derivative having at least one hydrogen atom directly bonded to at least one silicon atom.
