The holder i.e. gouging (1), has a spacing device (6.1) including a spacing element (7) that is arranged at the gouging and adjusted in position with respect to a receiver (5). The spacing element is moved between an operating position, for fitting a blade (2) in a spacing position, and a supplying position, for fitting the blade in the receiver in an installation position. The blade for cutting a subsurface is connected with a region including a cutter (8) at the subsurface in the installation position. The receiver includes a receiving part (5.1) with a receiving surface (5.2).
