The method involves providing a rod (2) with a cylindrical peripheral surface (4). Grooves (16a, 16b) provided parallel to a longitudinal axis (12) of the rod and along portions (14a, 14b) of the length of the rod are attached to the peripheral surface, where the rod is partially forced in a cavity. A projection is inwardly protruded from a cylindrical inner surface of the cavity. Flanges (24a, 24b) are formed while pressing against one of ends (2a, 2b) of the rod until in sections (22a, 22b) lying at the ends of the rod in an area of the groove. |
