<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus which properly monitors a change in a processing state. <P>SOLUTION: This communication apparatus comprises: a device control section 120 for controlling processing associated with a service; an information providing section 121 for providing information associated with the service; a monitoring section 111 which receives a request to monitor the associated information, from a PC 200, so as to monitor the associated information depending on the received monitoring request; a storage section 140 for storing the associated information; an information acquiring section 113 for acquiring the associated information provided by the information providing section 121; and a cash management section 114 which determines the presence or absence of the change in the associated information by comparing the acquired associated information with the associated information stored in the storage section 140, and which makes the acquired associated information stored in the storage section 140.
