PURPOSE: A drier is provided to change a straight line motion into the rotation motion of a driving motor using a power conversion unit. CONSTITUTION: A cabinet forms the external appearance of a drier. A drum is rotatably installed in the inside of the cabinet. Air in which is discharged from the drum is passed through a discharge duct. A filter assembly is installed on the discharge duct. The filter assembly collects the lint in air discharged from the discharge duct. The filter assembly cleans the collected lint. A power conversion unit(136) changed the rotation motion of a driving motor(134) into a linear motion.
