PURPOSE: A long material measurement device is provided to accurately calculate the number of long material measurement devices regardless of the existence of gap between the arranged long material measurement devices. CONSTITUTION: A loader(2) arranges a long material measurement device to a width direction. A sensor moving device(3) includes a proximity sensor and moves the proximity sensor of the loader. A movement distance meter(4) measures the translation distance of the proximity sensor. An input unit(5) receives the width of long material measurement device. An operation device(6) calculates the number of long material measurement devices.
