SINTERED BODIES BASED ON NIOBIUM SUBOXIDE

PURPOSE: The sintered body of niobium suboxide is provided to manufacture an andoe for a solid electrolyte capacitor by containing 30-100 mol% of niobium oxide and 70mo% or less of magnesium oxide. CONSTITUTION: A sintered body-based instrument containing 30-100mol% of niobium oxide(NbO_x) and 70mol% or less of magnesium oxide is partially used for chemically treating and thermally treating a capacitor precursor. In the NbO_x, the x is between 0.5 and 1.5. The sintered boy is capable of being composed of 35-100 mol% of niobium oxide and 65mol% or less of magnesium oxide. The porosity of the sintered body is less than 30volume%. The sintered body forms a sintered plate for a solid electrolyte capacitor anode.
