PURPOSE: A micro chip, a micro chip module, and an apparatus and a method for classifying micro-particles using the micro chip are provided to cost-effectively implement a classifying process by omitting the parts of expensive flow cells and orifice. CONSTITUTION: A micro chip(1) includes a substrate and a sample flow path(11) in the substrate. The sample flow path includes a converting flow path and a micro tube. The micro tube is in connection with one end part of the converting flow path. The cross section shape of the sample flow path is converted by the converting flow path. The micro tube is arranged in the substrate. The micro chip further includes a suction flow path. The suction flow path includes a first end part and a second end part. The first end part of the suction flow path is in connection with the sample flow path. The second end part of the suction flow path is in connection with a negative pressure source.
