The device (D) has an analyzing unit (M1) for analyzing a set of data representing environment of a vehicle e.g. car (V), to determine information representing a potential danger obtained from detection of a signaling element e.g. signaling panel and monocolor/bicolor/tricolor light, and/or a collision risk in the environment of the vehicle, in the data. The analyzing unit delivers another set of data representing the determined information to be utilized by a warning unit to warn a driver of the vehicle about the detection of the potential danger. The warning unit is chosen from a group comprising display screens (M21-M23), loudspeakers (M24, M25), a buzzer, a fragrance generator, a vibration generator and a haptic interface. The collision risk is defined between the vehicle and a movable element such as person, animal and other vehicle, or a fixed element such as pavement, post, building, fence, object, wall and bollard.
