<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain stagnation of exhaust gas in a sensor body by generating an appropriate pressure difference between a gas inlet and a gas outlet formed in the sensor body. <P>SOLUTION: An exhaust sensor 10 that measures exhaust gas contents is provided with a cylindrical sensor body 11 inserted into an exhaust pipe 5 of an engine 1, a gas inlet 12 opening into the sensor body 11 and facing the upstream side of exhaust gas, and a gas outlet 13 opening into the sensor body 11 and facing the downstream side of exhaust gas, wherein a pressure difference between the gas inlet 12 and the gas outlet 13 causes exhaust gas to be discharged out of the gas outlet 13 after being taken into the sensor body 11 from the gas inlet 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
