PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform long radiography by coupling a plurality of radiation detection units without increasing weight of the total device.

SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus 20A includes: a radiation detection unit 30a equipped with a radiation conversion panel capable of converting a radiation 16 to a radiation image; one control part 196 capable of controlling the radiation detection unit 30a; a first connection 464 capable of connecting between the radiation detection unit 30a and the control part 196; and a second connection 462 capable of connecting between the radiation detection unit 30a and the other radiation detection unit 30b.
