摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical multi-joint robot that, even when installed on a ceiling, keeps height of the ceiling to be installed low, and to provide a robot cell with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The vertical multi-joint robot 10 suspended from the ceiling includes: an arm part configured so that a plurality of arms is connected in order via joints having rotation axes C2, C3, and C5 which are non-parallel in a direction of gravity; and a base 11 for supporting the arm part.
