<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery cell including a semiconductor substrate, a two-stage emitter layer with two regions which is formed on one face of this substrate and has a high-concentration dopant diffusion layer with a conductivity type different from that of the substrate and a low-concentration dopant diffusion layer whose dopant concentration is lower than that of this high-concentration dopant diffusion layer, and a plurality of thin-line-shaped electrodes substantially parallel to each other, each of which electrically connects to the high-concentration dopant diffusion layer in this two-stage emitter layer, the high-concentration dopant diffusion layer having a thin line shape corresponding to the shape of the electrodes, the high-concentration dopant diffusion layer having a plurality of projections which form by protruding in a unilateral width direction or bilateral width directions along a longitudinal direction of this thin-line-shaped high-concentration dopant diffusion layer. <P>SOLUTION: According to the present invention, even when displacement between a pattern of the high-concentration dopant diffusion layer in the two-stage emitter layer and a pattern of the electrodes arises more than a little in mass production, extreme degradation in photoelectronic conversion efficiency can be suppressed, and as a result, solar battery cells with high efficiency can be manufactured in high yield. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
