<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mass spectroscope having a compact and simple configuration in which resolution is improved by introducing ions into a mass spectrometer part with high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the mass spectroscope, between the mass spectrometer part and a sample introduction piping part through which a sample is introduced into the mass spectrometer part, an open/close mechanism is provided by which gas introduction is intermittently performed to control sample passage, and a pump mechanism to evacuate air is provided so that pressure on a high pressure side of the sample introduction piping part, that is, pressure on the side opposite to the mass spectrometer part against the open/close mechanism is 100 Pa or more and 10,000 Pa or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
