<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet that prevents a door from lowering on one side with a simple and inexpensive structure and allows the door to be opened and closed smoothly. <P>SOLUTION: In a cabinet 1 that houses an electric appliance, a door 3 is pivotally attached to a housing 2 with a hinge 5 in a laterally-movable manner. A handle 6 is provided on the front face, which is on the opposite side of the hinge 5, of the door 3. A latch 8 is attached to the housing 2 so as to be positioned at the same height as the handle 6 with a bolt 9 through a slot 10 in a height adjustable manner. A door-side latch 7 is jointed with the handle 6 and latched to the housing-side latch 8 by rotary operation of the handle 6. A semicircular notch 11 is formed at a side edge 3a of the door 3 in the vicinity of the door-side latch 7. When the door 3 is closed, the notch 11 is engaged with the head of the bolt 9, and then the head of the bolt 9 positions the door 3 in the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
