摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend cavitation period which facilitates atomization of fuel in a fuel injection valve. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve 10 includes: a hollow-cylindrical nozzle body 20 which has a first nozzle hole 21 formed close to the distal end; a hollow-cylindrical first needle valve 30 which is slidably included in the nozzle body 20, is seated on the nozzle body 20 closer to the base end than the first nozzle hole 21 to be sealed by a seal part 32, forms a gap A between the nozzle body 20 and the first needle valve 30 closer to the distal end than a seal position when seated, has a second nozzle hole 34 formed closer to the distal end than the seal position, and opens and closes using a difference between fuel pressure to be applied on the distal end and fuel pressure to be applied on the base end; and a second needle valve 40 which is slidably included in the first needle valve 30 and is seated closer to the distal end than the second nozzle hole 34 to be sealed by a seal part 42.
