<p>Disclosed is an organic photoelectric conversion element which comprises a pair of electrodes of which at least one is transparent or translucent and an organic layer arranged between the electrodes, wherein the organic layer comprises a compound represented by formula (1) and a conjugated polymeric compound. The organic photoelectric conversion element can apply a high open circuit voltage. In the formula, the rings A and B are the same as or different from each other and independently represent an aromatic ring; A2 represents a bivalent group that can form a 5- or 6-membered ring in conjunction with the rings A and B, -S- or -O-; and R1's independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may be substituted by a fluorine atom, an alkoxy group which may be substituted by a fluorine atom, an alkylthio group which may be substituted by a fluorine atom, an aryl group which may be substituted, an aryloxy group which may be substituted, an arylthio group which may be substituted, an arylalkyl group which may be substituted, an arylalkoxy group which may be substituted, an arylalkylthio group which may be substituted, a dihydroxyboryl group, a boric acid ester residue, a halomagnesium group, a stannyl group which may be substituted, or a sulfonic acid residue, wherein the two R1's may be the same as or different from each other.</p> |
