A computer workstation chair controlled by mechanical action allows various working positions, from a horizontal position to a more traditional seated position in front of a desk, by means of a mechanism actuated by a series of gears, chains and levers. When the back of the chair is inclined, the mechanical movement is actuated, extending the footrest and causing in turn the screen support bracket to move from behind the backrest, until it is within view of the user. The chair comprises embedded earphones adjustable to the head of the user. The backrest sections can also be manually adjusted to improve back support.
