<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify control in a controller and to miniaturize an electric power generator while improving generation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An electric drive vehicle includes an electric storage, the electric power generator, a driving motor 11, a path setting processing means setting a path, a consumption-energy computing processing means computing a consumption energy in traveling on the path, and a traveling-time computing processing means computing a traveling time in traveling on the path. The electric drive vehicle further includes an energy-storage computing processing means computing an energy storage on the basis of the present residual capacity, residual minimum capacity and consumption energy of the electric storage, and a generating-condition holding decision processing means deciding whether or not generating conditions hold on the basis of the consumption energy and the energy storage. The electric drive vehicle further includes a generating processing means generating an electricity by a substantially fixed output by the electric power generator when the generating conditions hold.
