NEGATIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL, AND SECONDARY BATTERY AND CAPACITOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode active material capable of obtaining a large capacity and a long life cycle, and provide a secondary battery and a capacitor using the negative electrode active material.

SOLUTION: A negative electrode active material 12 comprises a lithium-containing aluminum alloy foil including a surface part 12a and a mother body part 12b that are provided on each front and back surfaces of the foil. The surface part 12a provided on each of the front and back surfaces forms a three-dimensional mesh-like skeleton, has multiple pores, and has a surface aperture ratio of 10 to 80%.
