<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle control device which controls individually a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor and in which a whole device is miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: The electric vehicle control device is composed as 4-in-1 inverter unit, in which four VVVF main circuit inverters 21a, 21b, 21c 21d supplying electric power for driving permanent magnet synchronous electric motors 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d are combined into one unit, and by the operation of the four VVVF main circuit inverters supplying electric power to the permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, a cooling mechanism for diffusing heat generated from the VVVF main circuit inverters to outside air is shared by the four VVVF inverters. Also, it is possible to achieve the individual control of the inverters and the miniaturization of the whole device, by storing a 2-in-1 semiconductor element device package, in which two semiconductor elements converting electric power are made to be one unit, in the 4-in-1 inverter unit so that the permanent magnet synchronous electric motor can be driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
