<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image formation device capable of detecting a density of a reference toner image formed with a black and a color toners by a diffused reflection type sensor and executing a change control of an imaging condition in response to a detected value. <P>SOLUTION: The color image formation device comprises: image formation means forming a toner patch image on a plurality of image carriers; an intermediate transfer body to which the toner patch image is transferred; a diffused reflection sensor detecting the toner patch image transferred to the intermediate transfer body; and control means to execute change control of an image condition in response to a value detected by the diffused reflection sensor. The control means performs a selective drive control so that, in a mode to detect the toner patch image formed with a color toner by the diffused reflection sensor, the control means provides a fixed voltage with the diffused reflection sensor and, in a mode to detect the toner patch image formed with a black toner by the diffused reflection sensor, the control means provides a control voltage which has been preliminarily set and stored with the diffused reflection sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
