<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder capable of reliably separating sheets and conveying them one by one, and an image forming system having the paper feeder. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feeder includes a belt in which a plurality of through-holes are formed, an air suction part positioned inside the belt for sucking air through the through-holes, and an absorption conveyance part 60 for sucking air by the air suction part, causing the sheets to be absorbed by the belt, and conveying them in a conveyance direction. The absorption conveyance part is stretched tightly by at least a first roller 61, second rollers 62a and 62b, and a third roller 63 disposed between the first roller and the second rollers. An outer face of the belt facing the sheet when air is sucked by the air suction part is bent at the position of the third roller in the cross-sectional surface in a conveyance direction, and in the cross-sectional surface orthogonal to the conveyance direction including the shaft of the third roller, an edge of the belt corresponding to the outer circumferential side of the air suction part is stretched tightly to project from the central part of the belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
