<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric product, a server, a method, and a program capable of determining the appropriateness of a power consumption catalogue value when calculating power consumption of the electric product connected to a network, and when the catalogue value is not appropriate, capable of suitable correcting the catalogue value without requiring new hardware or installation construction. <P>SOLUTION: An electric product 50 accesses a catalogue server 300 communicably connected to the electric product 50 and receives a power consumption catalogue value of the electric product 50 based on its own model name. Then, based on the model name, the electric product 50 receives a device group composing the electric product 50, receives power consumption catalogue values of individual devices corresponding to the received device group and adds the received power consumption catalogue values of the individual devices to calculate device group power consumption. Then, the electric product 50 compares the added device group power consumption with the power consumption catalogue value of the electric product 50 and determines whether their power consumption difference is larger than a predetermined value or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
