PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive, in particular, an adhesive for optical members, having excellent corrosion resistance because of its absence of an acidic group and excellent optical characteristics such as durability because of its high cohesion and adhesion.

SOLUTION: An adhesive composition principally consists of an acrylic resin (A) having no acidic group. The acrylic resin (A) is prepared by copolymerizing copolymerization components comprising a methyl acrylate (a1) and an n-butyl acrylate (a2) at a weight ratio(a1):(a2) from 3:7 to 7:3.
