<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer device with improved efficiency and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a heat transfer device for an exhaust system of a combustion engine, (more preferably of a motor vehicle), comprising: one or more warm tubes 2 for conducting a fluid emitting heat, one or more cold tubes 3 for conducting a fluid absorbing heat, one or more thermoelectric generators 4 for generating electric energy from a temperature difference.
