<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency of an entire information processing system by controlling workload allocation and efficiently recovering exhaust heat in response to change and localization of a workload, unlike the case where most of electric power consumed for cooling conventional information processing systems such as data servers has been only discharged to an outside of a computer room as exhaust heat. <P>SOLUTION: Thermoelectric conversion is performed by utilizing exhaust heat of server racks to perform a job control of a data center. Moreover, the thermoelectric conversion is further performed by heating and recovering warm heat through a vapor compression cycle by using heat exhausted from the server racks as a heat source, and furthermore, by using hot heat recovered through the vapor compression cycle as the heat source, cold heat is generated through an absorption type cycle to perform the job control of the data center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
