<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of easily performing operations corresponding to each of an electronic mail preparation sub function and a music player function to be processed in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: A portable communication terminal 10 processes a plurality of functions in parallel. Key input by a key input device 22 becomes effective for a function set to be active, and touch input by a touch panel input device 24 becomes effective for a function set to be inactive. Then, the electronic mail preparation sub function is set to be active, and the music player function is set to be inactive.
