<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound material that uses a graphite particle and has high heat conductivity not only in a planar direction but also in a thickness direction, and to provide a method for manufacturing the compound material. <P>SOLUTION: When a prescribed region of a plane has a connection region connected to a heating member and a column extending from the plane to another plane in a thickness direction with the connection region as a basal plane is represented as a virtual column 50a, at least a part of graphite particles 20 are oriented so that an angle formed by a normal line of the plane and a virtual line formed by projecting the normal line of the plane onto the surface of the graphite particles 20 in the normal direction of the surface thereof is 30° or less and, and assuming that a plane including the surface of the graphite particles 20 and extending in a planar direction of the plane is a virtual plane 20a, the virtual plane 20a passes through the virtual column 50a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
