<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the using efficiency of all WWN for rewrite by automatically executing distribution or collection as necessary concerning the management method of a WWN for rewrite applied to an FC-HBA. <P>SOLUTION: An exclusive WWN management server manages the state of the distribution of a WWN for a rewrite applied to an FC-HBA in a batch, and when WWN distribution to the FC-HBA becomes necessary, a management module which manages the FC-HBA requests the WWN distribution to the WWN management server, and receives the WWN from the WWN management server, and applies it to the FC-HBA. On the other hand, when the WWN applied to the FC-HBA becomes unnecessary, the management module requests WWN collection to the WWN management server, and returns the WWN to the WWN management server.
