<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus with a position detection function which enables to improve position detection accuracy of a target object according to an increase in measuring frequency. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical position detection device 10 of an apparatus 1 with position detection function, a detecting light source 12 emits a detection light L2, and a light detector 30 detects the detection light reflected by a target object Ob to detect coordinates of the target object Ob. A first detecting light source 12A, a second detecting light source 12B, a third detecting light source 12C and a fourth detecting light source 12D are arranged in a circumferential direction around the light detector 30 when viewed from a detection space 10R, and these detecting light sources are arranged at unequal angle intervals when viewed from the light detector 30. A line connecting the first detecting light source 12A with the second detecting light source 12B is not parallel to a line connecting the third detecting light source 12C with the fourth detecting light source 12D, and a line connecting the first detecting light source 12A with the fourth detecting light source 12D is not parallel to a line connecting the second detecting light source 12B with the third detecting light source 12C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
